Is there a file size or quantity limit?

There is no limit to the number of files in your app, however the size limit for each file is 50MB. Contact us if you need to add larger files.

What types of files can I include?

Graphics: jpg, png

PDF: pdf

Excel: xls, Excel 97 – 2003

PowerPoint: pps, ppt

Word: docx, doc, rtf

Video: mp4, mov

Audio: mp3

How many people can I distribute the app to?

Our standard contracts authorize up to 500 users. Additional users can be quoted separately. Contact us for more information.

Can I have additional functionality added?

How do I distribute the app?

There are multiple ways your app can be distributed to your users. Contact us and we can help you choose the method that is right for you.

How long does it take to download?

The first time the app is launched takes the longest to download the content. This can take 5-15 minutes depending on the amount of content needed to download and your connection speed.

Will my app be available to the public via the App Store?

No. The app is only available to your authorized users through your chosen distribution method. Contact us to help you choose the distribution that is right for you.

What devices will my app run on?

The app is an iOS native app that is designed to run the iPad 2 or newer. Contact us if you would like this app for a different device.

How do my users download or update the app?

The app is usually rolled out via an e-mail announcement with a link to the app. The user will need to click the link from their iPad (or type in the url). They will then be taken to a secure page where they can then download the app.

A push notification can be sent out to your users and notify them of new or updated content. All the user needs to do is click the Update button in the app and the new content will start to download.

Do my users need an iTunes account?

No. An iTunes account is not necessary.

Is the Content Management System on my server or yours?

The Content Management System resides on our secure server. Contact us if you require to host the CMS on your own server.

Is the app scalable?

Yes, the app is scalable. If you need more server space and want to distribute to more users than your current contract calls for, simply contact us and we can upgrade your account.
